My first week at NaariSamata! While I can't dedicate my full time as a volunteer to their cause I do aim to do at minimum 10 hours of work per week with them between my job hunt and my other responsibilties. I was tasked with creating a model of a female teacher character for their animation team to use.
I made plenty of progress on the ehad after creating a quick and low poly base template body from an online reference. It will need to be corrected to adjust to the style of the character and I still need to model the clothes but I think I've made lots of progress.
While not finished and certainly rough I think for my first time doing an entire head from scratch and modelling facial features like hair that its some pretty decent first progress. So what I'm proud of is how I was able to make this much progress on my first attempt. What I need to improve on is refining the hair and understanding how to do it better.
